DAY 1 - HUNGARIAN BEER - TIMISOARA - SZEGED (110 KM); SZEGED - NOVISAD (130 KM)
Meeting with the guide and then we will leave from Timişoara towards one of its Hungarian sister cities, Szeged. Upon arrival we shall walk through the historic centre, the Szeceny square, with its magnificent town hall, than onwards to the pedestrian area dominated by the Mediterranian-inspired Klauzal square. An adjacent squre is the Dom Square, where the 4th larges building in Hungary, the Votive Church is located.
Lunch will be served in a central bistro, accompanied by the local beer. The brewery of Szeged produces a wide selection of beers, delivered all around Hungary. The brewery has won several national and international prizes during the past decade.
After lunch, there will be the option of visiting the Mora Ferenc museum, with sections dedicated to archaeology, ethnography, or take a siesta stroll alongside the banks of the Tisza river. In the afternoon we will head towards Novi Sad. Accommodation and diner in Novi Sad (Serbia).
DAY 2 - SERBIAN BEER (145KM)
After breakfast we shall start to wander around Novisad, also called the “Serbian Athens”. The popular Exit music festival and several other music events are held annually in the Petrovaradin Fortress, which we will visit inside-out. After the visit we will have lunch, at the foot of the fortress hill which will be accompanied by the local beer.
Thereafter, we will go to Zrenjanin, for a rather quick pass-tought the beautiful boulevard like city centre, King Alexandr I, the city hall, the court house, the small bridge, which is located right next to the old beer factory, so that trying one for size comes only natural.
Our next stop will be Vrsec, an old Banat town with eventful history and rich cultural traditions. We shall visit the beer museum, located in the building of the directorate, followed by a beer tasting at the pub of the brewery.
Late evening – accommodation in Timişoara.
DAY 3 - ROMANIAN BEER
After breakfast we shall visit the Union Square, the most bourgeois area of Timişoara, where the eighteen hundred architecture that has given the city the surname “Little Vienna” can be admired. The other two important squares of the city centre are Liberty Square and Victory Square, the latter, renowned for the dramatic anticommunist revolution of 1989.
We shall than visit the local brewery, the oldest beer factory in Romania, whose beginnings go back as far as 1716. At the factory’s restaurant we shall have lunch and, and taste many kinds of beer in a bohemian atmosphere.
The afternoon will be dedicated to a visit through the Fabric Quarter, where the beer factory is located and where all the factories of the late eighteen hundreds and nineteen hundreds were located or optional to a stroll along the banks of the Bega river, where a string of parks are located, among the most famous being the Roses’ Park, or the oldest which is close by – the Peoples’ Park.

Vrsec - is an old Banat town with eventful history and rich cultural traditions, well known for its picturesque environment and natural beauties. It is a museum town hiding the immeasurable treasures of excellent cultural tradition in its churches, institutions and houses. The beer museum, located in the directorate's building, can also be visited. Beer tasting is also organized in the framework of visits to the brewery and the pub. The discount store operating within the brewery is also at the disposal of tourists, where they can buy the products at a preferential price.
